The artist's surfaces of the music centre are designed as a small city, an underground urban area - with aisles like streets, and classrooms, rehearsal rooms and offices organised around lighting-wells. Opposed to that, the level above with concert hall and facilities, is completely open to the public, with views via the lighting-wells into the artist's areas and music academy.
