Structural Technique of Folding and Layering
This seating landscape was developed via a simple technique of folding. Folds were overlaid in such a way that required stiffness was achieved where necessary. Flexibility was created by leaving several layers of folds unattached. This way they could move dynamicly, adaptin g to the person body profile and mass, as required. Folds were so thus used for structural purposes as well as ergonomic and esthetic ones.
